58th Steering Commitee 2025 in South Africa
15.12.2025
From 18 to 20 November, the representatives of the twelve nuclear operators who are members of FROG (Framatome Reactors Owners Group) and the Framatome technical leaders of the working groups, shared the highlights of the past year and defined the bases of the 2026 roadmap.
For more than 30 years, the FROG has been bringing together nuclear operators from around the world to share and explore issues related to reactor operation, opening up to new challenges in our industry such as knowledge transfer or climate change impacts.
In the introduction to the 58th Steering committee held next to Koeberg nuclear plant in South Africa, Grégoire Ponchon, CEO of Framatome, said: “The FROG is part of Framatome commitment as a reliable and long-term partner to operators, not only in the manufacturing of components and fuel but also in maintenance and engineering services. Over the years, it has been recognized for its invaluable support to operators and for the richness and openness of the exchanges it fosters.”
In a context of new construction and extension of the operating life of power plants, the work of FROG and its experience sharing meetings attract potential new members, all reactor technologies combined. The FROG currently has 12 permanent members and 5 associate members.
